Our Junior Programmes at Toronto Metropolitan University are designed to offer an enriching and immersive summer experience for students aged 12 to 18 who wish to improve their English language skills. Situated in the heart of downtown Toronto, the programme gives participants the unique opportunity to study on a vibrant university campus, allowing them to experience campus life firsthand. In addition to comprehensive English language lessons tailored to different proficiency levels, students enjoy comfortable residential accommodation that fosters a supportive and inclusive community atmosphere. Beyond the classroom, the program features a diverse range of engaging activities.

Residential English Summer Courses for International Students
Location
Airports: Toronto Pearson: 40 mins* Groups are met at the airport by a staff member who will escort you back to the campus.
Facilities
Indoor and outdoor spaces for interactive activities including conversation classes, international evenings, discos and more. The residence building includes common areas and floor lounges equipped with smart TV’s and kitchenettes. Laundry facilities also located on-site.
Accommodation
Residences: Shared multi-room apartments with shared washrooms. Single en-suite rooms may also be available.
Local Transport
Subway: Located in the heart of Toronto with excellent public transport links, closest subway stations are College or Dundas, a 5 min walk from campus
Internet
Wi-Fi internet is available across campus including in halls of residences. Please refer to your Centre Manager for Wi-Fi access codes.
Academics
Average students per class: 16. English levels: Elementary - Proficiency (programme can be adjusted to lower English levels). Additional qualifications available: Trinity GESE exam and PCTO programme
Security
There is 24 hour security. No safes in the bedrooms. The Centre Manager has a safe in their office for Group Leaders to store money/passports securely. An access fob, a key and lanyard are supplied to students.
Laundry
There is a laundry room located on site. Card system used. Cards can be purchased from the Loring Management Centre. All of the laundry facilities are self-service. Open: 9.00 - 21.00. Bed linen will be washed once a week by the University laundry.
Meal
Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:45. Toast, cereal, pastry, yogurt, fruit. Cooked breakfast once a week. Lunch: 12:30 - 13:45. Pasta, meat or vegetarian main course with potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert. Dinner: 17:00 - 190:00. Meat or vegetarian main course with potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert.
