Experience a memorable summer with our Junior English Summer Camp in London Greenwich, designed for kids aged 11-17. Our program offers high-quality English courses and exciting activities, combining immersive language learning with residential accommodation at the University of Greenwich. Our expert teachers help children improve their English skills, build confidence, and create lasting friendships through diverse activities. Greenwich is located near the river Thames in a charming London borough with maritime history attractions like the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory, and Greenwich Park, all within 30 minutes of London.

Residential Camps - English Courses for International Students
Location
Time to central London: 15mins. Nearest town: Greenwich. Transfer times: 1hr 20 to Heathrow and Gatwcik. Groups are met at the airport by an Activity Leader and escorted back to the campus. Travelcards: Weekly zones 1-2 travelcards are included. These allow unlimited travel on the transport network including bus, train, tube, DLR and tram.
Facilities
Sports: Sports are held in the beautiful Greenwich Park, which offers 74 hectares of open green space for outdoor games. Social spaces: We use a mixture of lecture theatres, classrooms and the Students Union bar on King William Walk for evening activities.
Accommodation
McMillan Student Village (10min walk from campus) or two stops on the bus. Single en-suite bedrooms arranged in flats with 24-hour security. Facilities located nearby the Student Village including laundry and two supermarkets. All rooms are equipped with a desk for personal study. Access to a modern student lounge with table tennis, sofas, TVs, study areas and a communal kitchen area.
Local Transport
Bus: The 188 bus from Greenwich Church Street takes you into central London through Waterloo and the Embankment. Buses to Lewisham include the 180 and the 199. Rail: Trains from Greenwich station go to Cannon Street every 10 minutes. The DLR from Cutty Sark will take you past Canary Wharf into Bank.
Internet
Wi-Fi internet is available across campus including in halls of residences. Please refer to your Centre Manager for Wi-Fi access codes.
Academics
Average students per class: 16. English levels: Elementary - Proficiency (programme can be adjusted to lower English levels). Additional qualifications available: Trinity GESE exam and PCTO programme
Security
There is 24 hour security. No safes in the bedrooms. The Centre Manager has a safe in their office for Group Leaders to store money/passports securely. An access fob, a key and lanyard are supplied to students.
Laundry
There is a laundry room located on site. Card system used. Cards can be purchased from the Loring Management Centre. All of the laundry facilities are self-service. Open: 9.00 - 21.00. Bed linen will be washed once a week by the University laundry.
Meal
Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:45. Toast, cereal, pastry, yogurt, fruit. Cooked breakfast once a week. Lunch: 12:30 - 13:45. Pasta, meat or vegetarian main course with potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert. Dinner: 17:00 - 190:00. Meat or vegetarian main course with potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert.
